THE 2021-22 RISE FROM BOTTOM TO THE PLAYOFFS

In the 2021-22 season we went from being bottom of the Championship after 8 games to the playoffs by the end of the season. So, is this a record? Well it kind of depends on how you look it, but of course it is.

OTHER DIVISIONS
Looking at things from a slightly different angle, I pulled a list of teams who got promoted each season and looked at when they were last in the bottom place and you can see that Barnsley easily beat Forest hands down. They were bottom of the third division after a whopping 20 games, but still managed to finish 6th and get promoted!
