Review:
This was the 3rd/4th place playoff for the 1983 Townsend Thoresen Tournament. After losing 4-5 on penalties to Brugge in the previous round we now faced Real Zaragoza, but lost 2-1 to finish last. For some consolation, PSV (the hosts) beat Brugge 5-0 in the final.
