Review:
A much better performance after last week, and only Gustavo Scarpa kept his place in the starting lineup. We began SO well, and Scarpa should have scored after just 5 minutes and when Wily Boly scored his first goal for us after 18 minutes, it was totally expected. (It was against his former club though, so no celebrations from him). We let Wolves back in the game after that and they equalised just after the hour meaning we went straight to penalties (no extra time today). Surridge missed his first one but then we scored the rest, meaning we have a two-legged semi-final against Manchester United next.

Stats:
We are into our first League Cup semi-final since 1992. We lost the final that year to our new semi-final opponents Manchester United.
This is the first time we've gone straight to penalties without having extra time
