Review
This was our first appearance in the First Round of the FA Cup since a reorganization of the trophy many years ago. And, according the rules, both teams had to chance colours if there was a clash, so we wore blue shirts with light blue sleeves and white shorts while Bristol City changed from red to white and black. A goal from Gordon Kaile was enough to see us through to the next round.
